BioYunyun Hu received the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from China University of Petroleum (East) at 2010 and 2013, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Duke University at 2018. After that, she has been with Halliburton Energy Services, Inc and Cadence Design Systems, Inc, where she worked on electromagnetic non-destructive inspection tool development and electromagnetic simulation software development, respectively. She has published 21 SCI journal papers on the prestigious journals as IEEE TAP, IEEE TMTT, IEEE TGRS and etc..

Research interests: Her researches focus onelectromagnetic numerical modeling method, inverse scattering and imaging, multi-physics modeling (including electromagnetic, acoustic, heat and etc.), integrated circuit modeling, electromagnetic non-destructive inspection, medical imaging and geophysical prospecting and etc..

Students who are interested in numerical modeling, machine learning, inverse problem and imaging, multi-physics modeling and its applications and etc., are welcomed to join the group.
