The circuits and systems specialty was granted master degree authority in 1984. The research fields of circuits and systems include VLSI design and electronic design automation (EDA)，SOC methodology and techniques, as well as modern network and filtering theory. The advanced EDA Lab in the department can be used for researches and education. At present the researches focus on the development of DSP applications, the embedded systems and the applications of high density programmable logic device. The subjects being studies include switched capacitor network, analog and digital signal processing, analog network fault detect, adaptive signal processing and adaptive system, artificial neural networks, power wave digital filter, etc.
